"I’ve been feeding my diabetic rescue dog Visionary Pet food since June 2022, even before I brought her to my house. She started on the kibble, then I fed her that plus the freeze dried raw until the kibble was no longer available. Since then, she gets the freeze dried raw. Her insulin requirement has decreased to almost 1/3 of her starting dose, and she’s so perfectly regulated that all vets are astonished when I do submit her glucose curve. I really wish all vets and those associated with treating canine diabetes (always a type 1) would pay attention to the success of a low carb, ketogenic diet. She has had zero issues with the higher fat, I believe because it’s a raw diet and the fats haven’t been cooked. We’re never going back! Plus, Paul at Visionary Pet has been phenomenal! ❤️❤️❤️"
